December 14, 2015. We are now just focusing on Math and Reading to get back into the swing of things and continue through the holidays.
We started with lesson 33 the ck sound in AAR level 1. W did the first part where I teach the sound and then I moved him onto Let's Go Learn Math assessment and he did a small part of that.
E also did lesson 33 the ck sound in AAR level 1. He also did the first part where I teach the sound and then I had him play a math clock game learning about the minutes (like 8:08, 6:30, 4:45 ect.)
December 15, 2015. We continued with lesson 33 and each child separately did blend sounds with letter tiles and play "change the word" game. For Math each child did Let's go learn assessment. W did a little more and E started.
December 16, 2015. We continued with lesson 33 in AAR. W played the duck game and word flips (words ending in ock, uck, ick, and ack). W also did a little more on the Let's go Learn assessments for math. E did a little more on the Let's go Learn assessment. December 17, 2015. Today E made boxed fudge brownies and shared with the neighbors. Today W made boxed cookies and shared with the neighbors. Today we went over the new green cards for lesson 33 + 8 previous green cards. Both E and W mastered 1 green card.
December 18, 2015. Today W started on the fluency sheets in AAR lesson 33.
December 20, 2015. Today E started on the fluency sheets in AAR lesson 33.
December 21, 2015. Today W continued the fluency sheet in aAR lesson 33(new words section)and he continued the Let's go learn math assessment. Today E continued the fluency sheet in AAR lesson 33(new words section) and he continued the Let's go learn math assessment.
December 22, 2015. Today W starting reading the phrases and sentences on the fluency sheet in AAR lesson 33. One page of AAR 33 fluency sheet is done (2 more to go). W continued to work on the Let's Go Learn Math Assessment.
Today E continued to work on the new words in lesson 33 fluency sheet of AAR. E also continued to work on the Let's Go Learn Math Assessment.
December 23, 2015. Today W continued to read the phrases and sentences on the fluency sheet in AAR lesson 33. He did 1/2 page of p. 136. W continued to work on the Let's Go Learn Math Assessment. I think we are near the end now.
Today E finished up the new words section and started on the phrases and sentences section of the AAR lesson 33 fluency sheet. He is back to giving hassle as now he cannot do it his way in this section. E continued to work on the Let's Go Learn Math Assessment.

My sick week
So after being sick all weekend and then someone generously gave us some furniture I decided that Monday will be a light day.
November 30, 2015. E and W completed an Reading Eggs lesson, a Driving test sight word lesson on reading eggs, and a math-seeds lesson. They also helped to organize board games and they socialized with neighborhood children in addition to watching Wild Kratts.
December 1, 2015. I am still recovering from being sick. Today I had E and W complete another lesson on Reading Eggs and math-seeds. E did 2 more parts of a lesson on the spelling bank in reading eggs and W completed a spelling lesson in reading eggs. Today I had both kids make muffins from a box. E made blueberry muffins and W made Banana nut muffins. I read the instructions and they did all measuring, stirring, and pouring. I put them in the oven. They turned out good. We even gave one each to a neighbor. Last thing for school was tonight at FSU math circle. They talked about algorithms. What is was and were it came from and did a few activities related to it.
December 2, 2015. I am still sick and now running a low grade fever so more reading eggs and math-seeds for us. Today E and W did one lesson of mathseeds and one lesson of reading eggs.
December 3, 2015. Today I feel better but school will continue to be light. Switched things up and they each watched one episode of Super Why! for reading and one episode of Cyberchase for math.
December 4, 2015. No school.
December 8, 2015. School today was learning how to get along .
December 9, 2015. E started making a calendar for next year. We went over the months and days and he made January with help, E also started on a Dinosuar workbook. W started on a Dinosaur workbook and reviewed time (minutes like 8:05, 6:30, and 12:50 are some examples) through a game.
