Janurary the start

This month started the official back to school.  So far it has been slow getting back into the swing of things. 1/1/15.  I had them do some reading eggs but since internet wasn't really working not a lot was done. On 1/2/15 we went over coins and how much each was worth.  On 1/3/15 it was

Critical thinking-castle panic and mastermind with friends.  This week we started 1/7/15.  They did AAR (did good and no complaints) and they did AAS (still going over some sounds).  1/8/15 so far AAS (went over sounds and what sound does this word end in).  Still needs a little work but they are getting it.  Next we will do AAR and try to finish up the healthy book my mom got for us.  1/9/15 Well we finished up the book and did AAR fluency sheet.  Tonight the kids went to Firefly pottery and painted some pottery for ART.  They got to do ART, socialize, eat pizza, and drink juice.  They had a good time.  We should get the pottery in about 1 week.

1/12/15.  Its been hard to start E back on reading.  I think no breaks should be had when it comes to reading.  He was doing so well and now he is fighting me on it again.  We, E and W,  finished up a math worksheet for math, watched signing time on the big T.V., AAR fluency sheet, FLL, and played a nutrition game and read the fruit book.

1/13/15.  Today we  finished up the fluency sheet and I gave out a prize.  Did some Spanish but E needs a different way to learn it I think.  Not sure what I will do just yet.  W pays attention but I think he would also benefit from a different format as they both seem bored with the books.  Today we finished the lowercase letters in handwriting and briefly went over AAS sounds.
